Third party insurance

In most countries, except for USA, this insurance policy is mandatory and therefore is included in the framework of the CDW insurance as required by the laws of that country.

In United States, the liability insurance for property damage / personal injury of a third party, that is usually included in the car rental prices, provides only minimal coverage to the car renter or the additional drivers listed in the rental contract. However, various car suppliers offer an extension to this coverage of up to one million US dollars per event and per rental period. This extension, referred to as SLI - Supplement Liability Insurance or EP - Extended Protection, is included in your voucher.

This insurance does not cover in any case any personal injury to the driver or the passengers of the rental car.
In addition, in certain jurisdictions (e.g., South Africa), the coverage proposed to be included in such insurance may contain various limitations prescribed by local law (such as: limitations on the account of coverage, the coverable events and more). Therefore, we recommend that you separately purchase an appropriate insurance coverage to meet your needs, or alternatively verify with the Car Supplier, at the time of picking up the car, which additional insurance coverages are offered by it for such purpose.
